Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquired physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after you acquire physical possession of the last good.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example by email or letter): CM Living, 72A Cité Op Hudelen, L-3864 Schifflange, Luxembourg, email cmcontact@cmliving.lu, phone +352 671 156 099. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment you used for the order, and you will not be charged any fee for the reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Please send back the goods, or hand them over to us or to a person authorised by us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired. Because our items ship from different supplier warehouses, please contact us before sending anything back. We will give you the correct return address and instructions.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Because furniture is bulky and cannot normally be returned by post, the estimated cost of return is comparable to the delivery cost, typically between EUR 50 and EUR 70 depending on size and destination. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Our 30-day return period

Beyond your statutory right, we voluntarily grant a return period of 30 days from delivery for unused goods in their original packaging. The same terms as above apply, and we do not charge a restocking fee.

Damaged or defective goods

If an item arrives damaged or does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as possible at cmcontact@cmliving.lu with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We bear the cost of return or replacement. Your statutory legal guarantee is described in our Terms and Conditions.
